Oliver Bullough is a journalist and author who moved in 1999 to Russia working for local newspapers in St Petersburg and Bishkek then for Reuters. He stayed in Moscow, mainly reporting on the war in Chechnya, until 2006. His latest book 'Butler to the World' reveals how the UK took up its position at the elbow of the worst people on Earth: the oligarchs, kleptocrats and gangsters.
Daria is co-founder and executive director of the Anti-Corruption Action Center, a powerful national organization that has shaped Ukraine's anti-corruption legislation and efforts. She directly challenged Boris Johnson over the UK’s failure to bring in swift sanctions against Russians resident in London and lack of no-fly zone, in an emotional intervention during a press conference in Poland on Tuesday.
Until 2018, Edward Lucas was a senior editor at The Economist. Lucas has covered Central and Eastern European affairs since 1986, writing, broadcasting, and speaking on the politics, economics, and security of the region. In September 2021 he was selected as the Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for the constituency of Cities of London and Westminster in the next general election expected to take place in 2024.
